The Beatitudes Campus is seeking caring individuals interested in a Full Time and Part Time Med-Tech/Certified Care Giver position. Assisted Living experience is a MUST.

This individual will assist senior residents with daily living activities.
Administer medications following established guidelines, policies and procedures and state law and physician orders.
Must be able to work evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends. Between 8 and 30 hours per week.
Communicate to the nurse manager medication refusals and potential med errors.
Completes monthly medication audits and checks daily for all meds stock levels including back-stock.
Take vital signs, including respiration, temperature, blood pressure, and pulse as requested or ordered by a physician.
Check medication carts for discontinued/expired meds. As well as med stock levels needed to be reordered.
Ensure physician orders match the MAR and ensure MAR matches medications giver.
Review MARS for accuracy and completeness.
Assist residents with activities of daily living as specified in the resident's service and care plans.
Responsible for documenting in resident records any significant changes in resident's condition and reports changes to the nurse manager.
Report incidents to the nurse manager and/or the Assisted Living Director using the appropriate forms.

Skills / Requirements

Requirements: HS Diploma or GED, Current 1st Aid, CPR, Caregiver Certificate or CNA Bridge program from ADHS or NCIA Board program, Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card, and Current TB test. Must have Food Handlers Card to work in Early Memory Support, Must be able to read/write English, must be 18 years or older.
